Mark is the General Manager for AIG Philippines Insurance, with concurrent responsibility for the AIG Operations Centers in Asia and AIG’s insurance arm in Guam and Micronesia. AIG provides commercial insurance in the Philippines, focusing on large capacity risks, corporate solutions, and complex or emerging risks with a local presence for over 85 years.

AIG also has a substantial presence in the Philippines and Malaysia, over 4,000 employees, delivering commercial insurance to Filipino and multinational corporations, and as a global delivery location for AIG insurance services. AIG was a pioneer in the development and growth of global operations, and today delivers high-value services to our clients in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America.

Prior to his current roles based in the Philippines, Mark built and led AIG’s shared services organizations in Asia in various capacities as General Manager, Head of Operations, and Head of Quality over the past fifteen years.

Mark has 30+ years of management experience in the United States and international businesses, and has held a variety of leadership roles including strategy, operations, quality management, program management, pricing, and strategic accounts. He led operations for a US healthcare information technology company, was a Six Sigma Black Belt for GE Capital, and was an officer in the US Marine Corps.  

Mark has MBA and MA degrees from The George Washington University and a BA degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He serves on the Board of Directors of The American Chamber of Commerce – Philippines, AIG Shared Services – Business Processing Inc. and AIG Philippines Insurance, Inc., as well for various not-for-profit organizations and industry associations.
