Mark is the Country Head for AIG in the Philippines, with responsibility for both AIG Philippines Insurance and AIG Shared Services (Philippines). In addition, he heads up AIG’s presence in Guam and Micronesia, which includes AIG’s general managing agent relationship in Guam and Guam Insurance Adjusters, Inc. AIG has a substantial presence in the Philippines, over 4,000 employees, delivering commercial insurance solutions to Filipino and multinational corporations, and as a global delivery location for AIG insurance services.

Prior to his current role, Mark was the General Manager for AIG’s Insurance company in the Philippines, where he led the transformation of the business to focus on Commercial insurance, emerging risks, and innovative distribution models. Previously, he built and led AIG’s Shared Services organizations in Asia in various capacities as General Manager, Head of Operations, and Head of Quality over the past ten years.

Mark has more than 25 years of management experience in the United States and international businesses, and has held a variety of leadership roles including strategy, operations, quality management, program management, pricing, and strategic accounts. He led operations for a U.S. healthcare information technology company, was a Six Sigma Black Belt for GE Capital, and was an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Mark has MBA and MA degrees from The George Washington University and a BA degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He serves on the Board of Directors of AIG Shared Services – Business Processing Inc. and AIG Philippines Insurance, Inc. as well for various not-for-profit organizations and industry associations.
